Jazz singer Diane Schuur considers Stan Getz and Frank Sinatra to be her mentors. So it’s no surprise that she pays tribute to those classic crooners with her latest album I Remember You (With Love to Stan and Frank). The album features 12 songs that were previously recorded by Getz or Sinatra; with the help of an all-star cast of musicians, Schuur puts her spin on the tunes. She kicks off a three-night stand at Nighttown tonight with two shows. (Niesel)
