Destiny's Child

Billed as “a funny film about depression,” Rocks in My Pockets enables Latvian animator and artist Signe Baumane to tell the story of three generations of her family. The women in each generation have battled mental illness but Baumane doesn’t dwell on the negativity. Rather, she explores the issue with levity in this animated film. It shows tonight at 7 and tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
