David Boe Memorial Concert: David Hurd, organ

A guest recital presented by David Hurd '71 in Finney Chapel. This concert is part of a series of annual events honoring David Boe's years of service to Oberlin College & Conservatory and is made possible by the generosity of the Boe Family and Oberlin alumni and friends. David was a beloved professor of organ (1962-2008) and the ninth dean of the Conservatory. David Hurd is widely recognized as one of the foremost church musicians and concert organists in the United States, with a long list of honors and achievements, and immeasurable expertise in organ performance, improvisation, and composition.
