Cursive

Shortly after forming nearly 30 years ago, Cursive started blending musical styles such as post-hardcore and indie rock on albums such as 2000's Domestica and 2003's The Ugly Organ. For its latest effort, Devourer, the band initially wrote nearly 70 songs before editing things to a more manageable 13 gemre-defying tunes that appear on the album. The indie rock act performs tonight at 8:30 at the Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights. Gladie opens.
