Cumulus Entertainment presents “The Hybrid Sessions” featuring Broccoli Samurai and Aqueous as BROCQUEOUS! andWanyama and C-Level as CLEZOO

Tonight, Cumulus Entertainment will attempt what cats like Gregor Mendel would have only dreamt of. Onstage at the Grog, the members of Broccoli Samurai and Aqueous will mutate into one massive, many-limbed beast known as Brocqueous. The regional jam band luminaries are guaranteed to take the crowd on an unparalleled sonic journey. Wanyama and C-Level, likewise, will merge into CLE-Zoo. They’ll supply the hip-hop-laden funk throwdowns for the night. The whole idea is a cool little experiment cooked up by the team behind Cumulus Entertainment. They’ve put on many terrific shows around Cleveland lately, but this one will be a unique trip to the other side of local music magic. Quadrophonic Desperation will open. (Eric Sandy)
