Cosmic Dave

Best known as “Joey” from the hit TV series Full House that had a nice run in the late ’80s and early ’90s, comedian Dave Coulier hosted America’s Funniest People for four seasons. Known for doing voiceovers, the guy’s been doing voices on Hanna-Barbera’s Scooby Doo and the re-syndicated version of The Jetsons. He occasionally busts out some of the voices in his standup routines. He likes to joke that Scooby should be at the airport sniffing for drugs. But his real favorites, he likes to joke, are Rocky and Bullwinkle. “We’ve all been a cartoon character,” he jokes. “You went out and partied and answered the phone next morning and sounded like Elmer Fudd.” And his Elmer Fudd impersonation is a doozy. Coulier performs tonight at 8 at Hilarities and has shows scheduled through Saturday. Tickets are $23 to $25. (Niesel)
