Choreographed for Cleveland Ballet by Spanish choreographer Ramón Oller, Coppélia is a comic ballet based on two stories written by German Romantic author E. T. A. Hoffmann. It centers on Dr. Coppelius, an inventor who's made a life-size dancing doll. Tonight's performance takes place at 8 p.m. at the Ohio Theatre, where performances continue tomorrow.
