In director Christian Sonderegger’s Coby, a young woman in a close-knit Chagrin Falls family decides to become a man, forcing friends and family members to confront their own preconceived notions of gender and sexuality. The step-by-step chronicle of Susannah’s physical and emotional transition to manhood comes off as particularly candid and inspiring.
