Celebration of Trees

The Holden Arboretum will host Celebration of Trees, a weekend event with family-friendly activities centered around trees and their vital role in our community, on Saturday, August 10 through Sunday, August 11 from 10am – 4pm daily. The special event will feature guided tree climbing for children, chainsaw carving demonstrations, the Great Lakes Timber Show and more! Guided tree climbing for children will be supervised by tree service professionals. A larger-than-life Walking Tree of Life will also be featured, as well as animal encounters with Penitentiary Glenn on Saturday, instructor-led watercolor painting, campfire stories and more.
