Celebrating American Classics

Experience the inspirational music of iconic American composers when the Cleveland Institute of Music's Women's Committee presents Celebrating American Classics in Severance Hall. The program will include Carl Topilow’s swinging clarinet on Glenn Miller standards, Vinson Cole singing selections from Copland’s Old American Songs, Chad Hoopes performing Barber’s beautiful violin concerto and a special appearance by Mark Nolan, WMJI 105.7. In addition to supporting student scholarships, this benefit will honor long-time CIM supporters Mal and Barbara Mixon.
