The New York Knicks used to regularly contend in the NBA playoffs. That was way back in the '90s when the team had guys like center Patrick Ewing and guard John Starks. The Knicks have struggled to be competitive for the past several years, but this year the guys have played .500 basketball so far and appear headed in the right direction.
