A long-standing battle rages between consumers and defenders in an old growth Oregon forest. Add meddling by the U.S. Forest Service, and the presence of a long-forgotten native denizen, and you have the comic mix of this "eco-fable" by Jon Klein and directed by Jerrold Scott.
