Carl Payne

An actor, producer, and director, comedian Carl Payne originally studied at the First All Children's Theater, a respected off-Broadway repertory theater company. He later attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York. He'd subsequently get his big break when he landed the role of Theo Huxtable's best friend "Cockroach" on The Cosby Show. He brings his standup show to town tonight and performs at 7:30 at the Improv, where he has shows scheduled through Saturday. Tickets start at $17. (Niesel)
