Caribbean Music Explosion

As the story goes, guitarist Dan Wilson heard a Wes Montgomery album and decided on the spot that he wanted to become a musician. The Akronite released his debut album in 2012 and has steadily recorded and toured ever since. Tonight at 8 at the Ohio Theatre, he teams up with the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra for a special program dubbed Caribbean Music Explosion. Expect to hear Afro-Cuban music along with samba and bossa nova tunes. Tickets are $35 to $55. (Niesel)
