Cabaret Has Its Day

Life is a cabaret, old chum. And that’s exactly what Playhouse Square wants to remind you tonight. Showing the 1970s classic, the venue’s hosting the film as part of its Cinema at the Square series. The musical, set in Nazi Germany, fills the screen with comedy, drama and music as it follows a lush and a gay Englishman as they strike up a friendship during a time of raids and beatings. The film about Nazi Germany to come out, Cabaret shouldn’t be missed. Tickets are $5. (Rees)
