Participants will explore how writers create characters, develop conflict, structure scenes, and turn personal interests or community stories into material for the stage. They’ll also look beyond the script to consider the choices involved in assembling a creative team, collaborating with performers, working within a space and budget, and connecting a new work with an audience.
