Buffalo Killers/The Giving Tree Band/Exploding Lies

Brothers Zachary and Andrew Gabbard learned to play guitar when they were kids. They’ve been in bands together ever since and have really gelled as Buffalo Killers, a group that’s steeped in '70s classic rock. Last year’s Dig. Sow. Love. Grow. is a tour de force that sounds like the classic rowdy rock albums Young recorded with Crazy Horse in the '70s. The guys have an EP of new tunes coming out for Record Store Day, which falls on April 20 this year. Dubbed Ohio Green, the new disc will be available exclusively on “herb green” vinyl but given the way Record Store Day releases are so coveted, it’s doubtful the guys will have copies of the new disc for sale at tonight’s show.
