Brews & Prose

A monthly event, Brews & Prose brings some of the region's top authors to Market Garden Brewery on West 25th St. Tonight's event, a special fourth anniversary party, features readings from Thrity Umgar, a local author famous for books such as The Space Between Us, The World We Found and The Story Hour, and Michael Ruhlman, author of House, The Soul of a Chef and Short Measures: Three Novellas. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the brewery basement. Other than the cost of your beers, it’s free. (Niesel)
