Books in a Bar: Anisfield-Wolf Book Group

When: Tue., Sept. 6, 7-9 p.m. 2016

Appletree Books, in partnership with the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards, presents a monthly book group focusing on winners of the award, which, administered by the Cleveland Foundation, honors books that explore issues of racism and cultural diversity. In September, we will discuss Ralph Ellison's 1952 classic Invisible Man (Vintage Books), awarded a 1992 Anisfield-Wolf Landmark Achievement Award.
