Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band/The J. Geils Band

Husky-voiced singer-songwriter Bob Seger embodies a Midwestern attitude. His back catalog features tunes about going out and having a good time ("We've Got Tonight") and moving on in life ("Turn the Page"). His new album, Ride Out, doesn't deviate from past efforts. Album opener "Detroit Made" is a hard rocking tribute to his hometown. At a time when the Motor City is in economic decline, the song stands as an affirmation of the city's resilience as Seger sings about the virtues of hard rock. The title track features a breezy horn section as Seger makes references to current events. Cleveland treats Seger as a hometown hero so expect this show to have all the energy of a Springsteen show.
