Blackmail

The Cleveland Silent Film Festival hosts this screening of the Alfred Hitchcock classic. The second screening, on April 5, at 4:30 pm, is Alfred Hitchcock’s 1929 thriller Blackmail. The film will be accompanied by a live score performed by the Cleveland Photoplayers, led by pianist Eric Charnofsky and featuring some of the top instrumentalists currently working in Northeast Ohio. The ensemble was established expressly for the series, and the Blackmail screening will be the Cleveland Photoplayers’ debut performance. It shows at 4:30 p.m. at Cleveland Public Library.
