In observation of Black History Month, Cleveland Inner City Ballet hosts the first-ever Black Ballerina Ball from 1 to 3 p.m. at its new Cleveland Ballet Studio. Activities include story time with a CICB ballerina, a performance by Cleveland Inner City Ballet dancers, cookie and cupcake decorating, ballerina crafts and more. Young dancers are encouraged to come dressed in their best ballet or princess attire. There will also be a dance tribute to African American with dance educator Eugina Payne, Cleveland School of the Arts first Dance Educator. Local pianist Karin Tooley will perform as well.
