BKLYN — The Musical: An Urban Fairytale
BKLYN the Musical, a play within a play, centers on a group of performers who aim to "create an inclusive space for anyone who is searching for a family or for a home." Two aspiring singers engage in a sing-off, and the tension culminates in a Battle of the Divas at Madison Square Garden. The play runs through Feb. 18 at Near West Theatre.
