In tonight's talk Aviva Rothman, Inaugural Dean’s Associate Professor in the Department of History, will highlight the ways that astronomers' stories about the universe intersected with a particular variety of awe-inspiring astronomical phenomena. Part of 2024 Cleveland Humanities Festival: AWE, the event will also feature a pop-up exhibit of rare books from Kelvin Smith Library's Special Collections.
