Around the Corner 45th Anniversary Weekend Celebration

Around the Corner, one of Lakewood's most popular watering holes, celebrates its 45th anniversary this weekend with a series of special events. The weekend-long party kicks off today at 3 p.m. with a free T-shirt giveaway to each guest who purchases food and drink. Tricky Dick takes the stage at 9 p.m. Tomorrow, the place will serve up mini burgers and wings for 45 cents, and there will be a drawing on Saturday to win a trip for two to Mexico. The drawing takes place at 9 p.m. A portion of the weekend's profits will be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association on behalf of Lakewood's firefighters. (Niesel)
