Earlier this year, the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque added the new 4K restoration of Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now to its schedule. Apocalypse Now Final Cut was such a success, it screens attains tonight at 6:30 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Inspired by Joseph Conrad’s modernist novel Heart of Darkness, the film stars Martin Sheen as a U.S. Army captain (Martin Sheen) who takes a journey upriver to find and kill a renegade colonel (Marlon Brando). Robert Duvall, Dennis Hopper and Harrison Ford co-star. Tickets are $12, $9 for Cinematheque members, CIA/CSU I.D. holders and those age 17 and under. (Niesel)
