Anvil/Eternal Legacy/Rick Ray Band

The 2008 documentary Anvil: The Story of Anvil documented the rise and fall of a Canadian metal band that formed in 1978 and slowly became a hugely influential but relatively unknown act. The film gave the band a jolt and it started actively recording and touring again. Last year, it issued Hope in Hell, an album of heavy tunes that bring to mind acts such as Metallica and Iron Maiden. (Niesel)
