Annie gets yet another update for today's generation in this production of the musical directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin and choreographed by Liza Gennaro. It also features book and score by Tony Award-winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin. Yep, you'll still hear all those memorable tunes — “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” “Easy Street,” “I Don’t Need Anything But You" and, of course, “Tomorrow." It opens tonight at 7:30 at Connor Palace and performances continue through Jan. 17. Tickets are $10 to $80. (Niesel)
