An African Adventure

Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti was thrust back into the limelight when Fela!, a musical about his life, became a Broadway smash a few years ago. In order to shed more light on the man, director Alex Gibney decided to document in his life with the film Finding Fela, a tribute to Fela's terrific music and his wide-ranging influence. The film features lots of never-before-seen concert footage and exclusive interviews. It shows tonight at 8 at the Grog Shop. Tickets are $20. (Niesel)
