Amythyst Kiah

Produced by Butch Walker (Taylor Swift, Green Day, Weezer) and recorded at his Nashville studio, Kiah’s second full length, Still + Bright, finds the singer-songwriter contemplating Eastern philosophies and spiritual traditions. Album opener "Play God and Destroy the World" offers exuberant vocals and comes off like something by Mumford and Sons or the Lumineers. Guests such as Billy Strings and Avi Kaplan make notable contributions. Kiah performs at 8 p.m. at G.A.R. Hall in Peninsula.
