American Heretics: The Politics of the Gospel

This documentary film dives into the buckle of the Bible Belt where a group of defiant ministers, congregations, and community leaders started a church that features a "Gospel of Inclusion." Labeled as heretics for their beliefs and actions, the church leaders began marrying gay people long before it was legal and work to protect the rights of immigrants.
