Alien Adventures

A number of sic-fi flicks have centered on the hunt for an evil alien creature. In that respect, 1987's Predator comes off as conventional. Its plot centers on the leader (Arnold Schwarzenegger) of an elite special forces team on a mission to rescue hostages in Central America. The movie got negative reviews (but still made a ton of money at the box office) upon its initial release. It's since become a cult classic; it shows at midnight tonight at the Capitol Theatre.
