Afternoon Delight

If you missed the first three games of this homestand against the Royals of Kansas City, you’ve got one more chance. Take the afternoon off work and scamper over to Progressive Field for the 12:05 first pitch. Or — if you’ve got the means — take a long lunch and catch the first three or four innings. Cleveland sure is a lot warmer than it was in Detroit and Chicago last week. Kansas City, like the Tribe, has a lot of young, exciting players — stud outfielder, Alex Gordon, has impressed early. But the Indians will combat the Royals’ bats with what they hope will be a dynamite rotation (to go along with Cody Allen and the dominant pen). Don’t be a part of the dismal home attendance!
