Abstract Art

Painters Mark Keffer and Dragana Crnjak both apply layers and layers of paint to their abstract paintings in order to create textured surfaces that really defy description. Keffer works out of Cleveland and Crnjak is assistant professor of painting and drawing at Youngstown State University with a studio in Youngstown. The two will be at Proximity tonight from 6 until 10 p.m. for the opening of their new joint exhibit Float. Admission is free and the exhibit will run through Nov. 8. (Niesel)
