Abjectified: a solo exhibition by Morgan Mansfield

Cleveland Institute of Art student and emerging multimedia artist, Morgan Mansfield, will debut her first solo exhibition as a part of The Cleveland Institute of Art's Creativity Works Internship made possible by the Cleveland Foundation Fenn Educational Fund. Her show, titled Abjectified, focuses on the relationship between the abject and the objectified. Mansfield is inspired by classic horror films and interactions through classic and contemporary media. Her paintings take on a sculptural quality as she integrates 3-dimensional attributes. Abjectified will be open at Loftworks Gallery from May 26 through June 11. Opening Reception: Friday, May 26th from 5pm to 8pm
