A Monster Musical

Tonight at Hanna Theatre, a locally produced staging of Les Miserables, the long-running monster musical hit, opens. The Boublil and Schonberg epic will be directed by Victoria Bussert, and this Great Lakes Theater production will no doubt feature a much better singer in the role of Inspector Javert than the recent film version did with Russell Crowe. The curtain rises tonight at 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at $13. Performances continue through Nov. 9.
