A Holiday Classic

The late, great Barbara Stanwyck stars as a columnist who has lied about her skills as a homemaker and must host an elaborate dinner party to prove she can cut it in the kitchen. That’s the premise of Christmas in Connecticut, a classic film that screens today at 10 a.m. at the Capitol Theatre as part of the Cleveland Cinemas Sunday Classics Brunch & Movie Series. After the film, take your ticket stub to a partnering restaurant and receive a discount. Tickets to the film are only $5. (Niesel)
