A Comic to Watch

Comedian Kurt Braunholer has created quite an impression in New York where he hosted the popular “Hot Tub” variety show. Time Out crowned him one of the “50 funniest New Yorkers” and Backstage magazine said he was one of five “Comics to Watch.” Braunholer has a high-pitched squeaky voice that makes just about everything he says sound funny, even if he’s just reading posts from Missed Connections on Craigslist. He performs tonight at 8 at Hilarities. Tickets are $18. Performances continue through Jan. 25. (Niesel)
