8th Annual Green & Clean Day

On the first Friday of May each year, volunteers flood downtown Akron and help paint the city green! While wearing their "safety green" apparel, they assist is deep cleaning the downtown footprint. Business employees and community members construct teams and execute projects in or around downtown or will be assigned duties within the district. Each team member will receive a complimentary t-shirt, goodie bag and lunch. Morning or afternoon shifts are available (9 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1-4 p.m.).
