5J Barrow's Eryn Merman has said her upbringing in “a really creative, very supportive of the arts family” gave her the motivation to pursue a career as an actress and singer. Murman formed 5j Barrow in 2011 when she met bandmate Jason Hite in San Jose, CA. They had worked on a play together and discovered they had much in common. They took their talents to New York and released their debut album, From the Dim Sweet Light, in 2014. They've continued to tour and record regularly since then. They perform at 8 tonight at Music Box Supper Club. Tickets cost $15 in advance, $18 day of show.
