4 Miles 4 Water

Drink Local. Drink Tap (DLDT), the locally based not-for-profit organization that aims to “inspire individuals to recognize and solve out water issues,” will host its third annual 4 Miles 4 Water event at 1:30 p.m. today at Edgewater Park. At the event, the organization will attempt to break the Guinness World Record holder for “largest number of people walking with a bottle of water on their head.” A water-focused festival with a 1-mile walk/4-mile race and interactive and educational games for both adults and children follows the world record attempt. There will also be a vegan food court and a beer and wine garden. Local reggae act Carlos Jones & the PLUS Band will perform a free concert.
