Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that becomes evident in early childhood or adolescence. Tourette Syndrome and other Tic Disorders are not rare - The current estimates are that 1 out of every 160 children between the ages of 5-17 in the United States has TS and that number is rising. During Tourette Syndrome Awareness Month (15 May - 15 Jun), let’s gather together to show our support for the children and families in Northeast Ohio who are affected and help the Northeast Ohio Assoc. for Tourette Awareness run programs to increase awareness and offer support throughout the year.
