Young and Innocent

Chase melodrama, in which a film actress is murdered by her estranged husband who is jealous of her young lovers. The following day, writer, Robert Tisdall, one of her lovers, finds her body washed up on the beach. However, as he runs off for help, he is seen by two witnesses who suspect he is the murderer. Tisdall is arrested by the police for suspicion of murder, but owing to a mix up at the court, manages to escape and go on the run. Now he must attempt to prove himself innocent of a charge of murder based on circumstantial evidence.
